The albums "Le'ts Get it On" and "I Want You" were actually written for Marvin's 16 year old lover, Janis. Marvin was 37. So that kind of puts the whole album into a more of a pedophilic context. Also, more on sexual dysfunction. Marvin's pentecostal minister father was also a crossdresser. This troubled him his entire life, and Marvin would go out of his way to appear more masculine.
